Reconnecting with Democracy: Why “We” Matters More Than Ever | UC Berkeley

For this project, I created a short animated explainer for the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley translating a policy research report on American democracy and civic participation into a concise, visually engaging video for digital audiences.

Working with researchers and communications staff, we distilled the key findings of the report into a clear narrative that could communicate the research quickly and accessibly. To support the storytelling, I developed a visual style built around collage elements inspired by election materials — ballots, campaign posters, and tickets — creating a graphic language that visually connected to the subject matter.
